A Few of My Favorite Things

Creating meaningful vignettes around the house is one of my favorite things to do. As I hunt the estate sales, cruise the antique stores, and simply shop online, I love figuring out the perfect place for each new purchase. It almost becomes a game. Once the vignette is complete, it becomes representative of your style, your interests, and most importantly, it becomes your home. These new purchases are no longer just things in a house, they are a part of something bigger.
 
 
My bedside table happens to be one of my favorite vignettes. Coordinating Waterford crystal, a venetian frame accent, the letter from my husband on our wedding day and a catch-all plate with my 2 favorite things. Going to bed each night and awaking the next morning to a few of my favorite things bring a smile to my face!
